First writing

Hi Daniel

I've been meaning to drop you a line. Guess who I ran into the last time that I went to a concert? Claudia Parra from the school, I didn't expect to see her there. I couldn't believe how much she's changed!

She's changed almost everything about her appearance. She's gained weight and she's still short. Her hair is dyed blue, also she's gotten a haircut, I remember that she had long hair until her legs.

I couldn't believe when I saw her singing and her acting was extremely beautiful, I loved listening to her. Also, I could talk to her and she told me that she was studying management, but she didn't like it and she stopped because she decided to study music and act, it surprised me because I remember that she was very shy at school and she hated talking to people, she liked to be alone, but now she's changed a lot, she's more talkative and she has a lot of friends.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Doris,

How are you? I´ve been meaning to drop you a line for months. Guess who I ran into the other day? That person is Erik Cantona!! from the school. We used to spend a lot of time playing soccer at recess. I saw him eating in a restaurant but I couldn´t greet him because I was carrying some items that I bought in the store. If I hadn´t carried those things, I would have approached him. At the beginning, I couldn´t recognize him because He has changed his look totally, but finally I realized that He is Erik.

Let me tell you that He´s still thin with an athletic complexion, also He is a little taller now. He wears a gleaming smartwatch and fancy sneakers. He has an elegant sporty look. He was very thin but now he looks athletic and strong. I suppose that it is due He is a soccer player and every day He has to train really hard to stay in perfect shape for facing new challenges. 

I couldn´t believe he was the same as the scrawny small kid that we knew. 
I know that he plays as midfielder in his soccer team and he really looks colossal.

How's it going? I haven't known about you for a long time. Imagine I ran into with Hugo Ferbsson yesterday - our high school classmate, remember? I haven't seen him since we were in high school. I couldn't believe how much he'd changed.

He's taller and bigger now. From what I could see from his Facebook profile he's been going to the gym! He has grown and gained muscles. Check out this link to a photo from his profile picture. He also cut his hair, do you remember that he had long hair? Now he's bald. He got his hair shaved. I couldn't believe that he was the same classmate we all bothered about his thinness and his strange long wavy hair. In high school Hugo used to be laid-back and self-conscious, didn't he? He's not that guy anymore.

He has been dedicated to taking care of his personal image. He told me that he'd been working as a personal trainer since 2015. Now he is very confident and outgoing. I've attached a photo of him. Look how different he is now.

Anyway, how are things over there. Some told me that you'd gone to the US for work. Drop me a line when you can, and let me know how you're doing!

He is really talkative and has many followers, I can't believe it. He was very shy and didn't have many friends at school, right? How are you? I hope you are ok! Guess who i ran into the other day in a beauty conference? Mery  Miller - from the bussiness school, remember? I hadn't seen her since we graduated. She changed a lot. You couldn't believe that when i tell you about her.

She's in great shape with a dark complexion. She get a beautiful tan. Also, she's let her hair grow long. And she wears contact lenses! Now, she become in an important businesswoman in the world of beauty. She set up her own company and she's in chargue of the company's management. But the most incredible is that she's the image of her company.  She's really lively and talkative, she lectures in front of a large audience. I remember she had stage panic, didn't she?

I couldn't believe she was the same girl of the school with tha same fair complexion and freckles. I've attached a photo of her, you and me with Davis in our graduation party. Look how my hair looked with curls then! And you were the most tall and thin of the school. Tell me you put on weight or not?

How are you? Recently, I've been thinking about sending you an e-mail and others our university classmates too. You know It has already been a long time since then. Guess who I ran into a month ago? Henry Alvino, the nerd of our classroom, do you remember? I hadn't seen him since our university graduation party. I couldn't believe how much he has changed! It really disrupts me.

He still has his classic freckles but with tanned skin, you know, his complexion used to be extremely pale. He put on weight and he has gained more muscles too. Also, he has let his black hair grow long and wears them in a strange ponytail! And he doesn't wear his big ugly glasses anymore! He looks better than ever! This shows that he has been improving his personal image since he left university. Maybe you don't trust me, you have to see that by yourself, check out his Facebook profile and see the tattoos on his face. He used to be self-conscious and nothing lively, didn't he? Now, he is so confident and witty too. The only bad news about him is that he hasn't found a good job yet. I guess he will do that soon, he is constantly looking forward to getting an appropriate job.

I couldn't believe that he was the same thin, pale and disruptive guy that always got on our nerves with his fearful way to do the things. I've attached a photo of him, you're welcome.

How's it going? I hope you're well. I'm sorry I haven't in touch for such a long time. I wanted to let you know that I'm going to the gym and you don't know who is my personal trainer? Jesus Castro - from the school, remember? I was really surprised to see him. Now, he looks totally different!

He has lost weight. He built up muscle. Also, he shaved his hair. He is really interesterd in his appearance. He is still really outgoing, he has a lot of friends. He was very friendly, wasn't he? He has been working as a personal trainer since 2015. And from now he will be my coach.

I couldn't believe how much he's changed. When we were at the school, he was overweight. Also, I remember he had long, curly, black hair. Well, I think everybody changed their look. For example, you have a tattoo and I dyed my hair.

Hello Jenny,
How is it going? I haven't heard from you for a long time, so I'd like to know how are you. Guess who I met up last week? Our classmate from high school, James Olsen. I don't remember if Olsen is his last name, is it? do you remember him? I didn't recognize him until he told me his name, he looks very different. He was very thin in high school, but now he's built up muscle. The thing that most impressed me was that he doesn't have any hair. He's bald! In high school, he had a unique hairstyle, but he doesn't really look so bad now. I couldn't believe he's bald, he had beautiful long hair. Anyone would have wanted to have that hair.
He's still interested in music. Actually, he belongs to a band he's the guitarist. I remember he wasn't talkative, but he was outgoing and always spent time playing the guitar.
He made me listen to a couple of his songs, they were great. I will become one of his fans. If you want to hear it, you can look for it as a Parachute that's the name of the band, I'm sure you'll love their songs too.

Hard to believe

Hi Neil,

How are things? I've been meaning to drop you a line for some time. Guess what happened the last time I went to Lima? I ran into Edson Pretell, our old schoolmate, remember? It has been a long time since I saw him. I couldn't believe how much he's changed!

He has grown a little more, put on some weight and change his hairstyle. His hair is dark and shorter now.

He used to be laid-back and talkative, didn't he? But now, he looks very confident and dedicated to his job. He is working as a bank lawyer in a recognized company.

I couldn't believe that someone has changed so much in a few years, I've attached a photo of him, you and me. We were taking a break from sports in the second grade of secondary school. Look how the bangs I had back then! And you were short and your face was very pale. It's hard to believe, isn't it?

Hi Katherine,

How are you? I've been meaning to write you a line for about a month.
Last week I was walking in the park when suddenly I run into John, do
you remember him? He studied in the same high school as us. His
complete name is John Uribe. I have not met him since our graduation
day. He has changed so much I couldn't recognize him at first sight.

He is still really friendly and with the same personality, but his
body is completely different now. He's let his hair and beard grow
extremely long. Furthermore, he has tattoos all over his face, they
have a tribal design. As if it was not enough, he got a couple of
bright red piercings. Check out this link to his Instagram page for
knowing more of him. He always said he wanted to be different, didn't
he? I think he got it. Now he is working as a surfing trainer in the
north of the country.

I couldn't believe he was the same boy who used to play with us. I've
attached a photo of him, you and I, it is of our graduation day. Look
how short I was back then. And you were much taller than me. Things
have radically changed; don't you think?

This story happened when I was a child, a Saturday, which seemed that things would happen normally, my father had an idea to go for a walk to a town. For every child to visit a new place is fantastic. So we began the trip with great enthusiasm. At first, it was calm the sun with great intensity and the heat it produced seemed unbearable. Well we arrived at the place. With my brother, We went for a walk. As every child, the older brother was like a superhero. We were laughing. Then He stopped and told me to run. I was scared. I told him Why ? The terrified man just told me again run. When I turned around. I saw to difficult and I just remember see a gigantic animal I didn't see better in detail. I just ran to get to the car. I ran at high speed just like my brother's, so we arrived with our parents, with the animal behind us and our parents. When They saw us they asked us what going on? I told them a monster, a dinosaur, and When They saw us they just laughed next to my brother I didn't know why. Then They told me that the monster was a turkey, I saw better the animal and I discovered that it's a little and I laughed with them that was funny.

One day 24 years ago I was born inthe of Huancayo. I am the  oldest of 3 brothers whose names are: Nohelia and Sebastian. Nohelia is 21 years old and Sebastian is 14 years old. I studied for 3 years at Mi Cielito kinder garden and in primary school I studied in different schools ( Santa Felicia, Germinal, Nuestro Sabio Consejo and Zarate) an the next 5 years I studied in 2 high schools ( Trilce and nuestra Señora de Moserrat).  When I finished the school I applied for the UNCP. I entered civil engineering and studied 2 years there then, I  switched to Continental  University in the same career. I am in the 4 year of civil engineering. Last year I participated in the work and travel program and I traveled to the United States, in the end of the year vacation I went to Wisconsin and I was a lifeguard at Great Wolf Lodge. It was a nice experience because I met people from different parts of the world and we could share our cultures. This year I  am also participating in the work and travel program and now I am going to go to Key West Florida because I want to change the weather and share other cultures. Finally I want to have my own company about construction because I like my career and I would like to build different things for example roads, bridges, big buildings and malls.

MY LIFE IS A STORY 

Many years ago a girl named Yesseira was born.She was a cheerful, funny and very happy girl with her family, but at that time her parents didn't have much, but above all they loved each other. Her family were her parents and her two brothers: Rando and Luis Carlos. She was the youngest daughter. Yesseira always drew on the sheets that her father gave her. She also looked to write small poems and above all dance it was her favorite hobby. 

Yesseira has two pets, a cat named Celeste and a day named Rayo, she has always loved animals. She feels they are very faithful friends. Now she has another pet called Samy. 

As the years went by, she began to grow. First she went to kinder, then to high school where she met her first love and her three best friends: Almendra, Carol and Wendy. Finally, when she entered the university, she decided to study Communication Sciences, that career always caught her attention and was now she is happy studying that. 

Finally, her family, has overcome all the problems they had. She lives in a beautiful house with her parents, her brothers and her pets. She has met many people in all these years and feels that each experience useful for her life. She believes she must live day by day be happy with all the people around her.

THE BEST DAY EVER

It was raining I woke up but i Heard a soft voice in my head saying, "Happy birthday, finally the day is here… " I always knew that your birthday is just one day but the people (family and friends) around you make it special so I took the shower and my mom called me to wish me the best day of my life.

I cooked my breakfast quickly and I went to my work everyone was waiting for me when I arrived my office was colorful with a lot of things made by my friends, there were plenty of posters wishing me the best and I started to smile.

Finishing my work, I went to my home and when I was looking for my keys, I noticed about whispers inside my room at the moment I was afraid to open my door, but I thought, might be my sister and I was not wrong because everyone was there, my entire family and together we had a big meal and a delicious cake of blueberries, I really enjoyed every moment with them, and finally at night my best friend called me for an urgency in her house but it was a lie because all my friends, girlfriend and partners were there and obviously we danced all night.

Thanks for the e-mail. Sorry to hear you are going through such difficult times. I know that when one ends up with someone, at first it is difficult and sad but you have to remember that being alone can do many things, for example:
You can take a vacation, you can travel to other country.
Honestly, I think Miami would be the best option. This place have a lot of beaches.
If I were you, I would leave immediately but remember to pack some good waterproof clothing if you want to dive. Don't forget that you definitely should block that guy from all your networks.
You have to fun absolutely.
Anyway, if my boss gives me vacations, we go to the party 🎉 wuuu!!!!!! 🥳

I know you arrived in London and you have some problems. Sorry to hear you are finding it difficult to make friends. You have a lot of friends in Peru, don't you? You could make friends playing soccer because soccer is a popular game in London and you are a fan of Liverpool. It could help you to improve your English too.

You definitely shouldn't get used to waste money on unnecessary things because in London everything is expensive, also your department is small so you need to save money to buy a new department. Sometimes the weather is too cold and sometimes It's too hot. You need a comfortable apartment to study well.  Honestly, you are going to need much money.

The food from London is horrible and you like to cook, don't you? You should look for similar ingredients in the market to cook by yourself. Whatever you cook, it won't be the same like in Peru, that must be really hard but you could save money too.

Thanks for the e-mail. Sorry to hear you're finding it difficult to get into that university. 200 questions sounds very difficult.

I know it's not easy to get into that university, but you have to keep studying very hard, you have a lot of intelligent friends that can help you studying. And I think that the exam can be easier than you think, maybe you just have to calm down and concentrate a lot.

I wouldn't take a career in medicine, because it takes a lot of time of studies, its 7 years at university and after that you have to study like 2 more years I think for specialization. Have you thought about how your life would change?  I think you must be feel terrible because when you are in other country, you don't know anyone and all the things like food, people, language are very different from our country. Maybe your parents want a better future for you, I completely understand! but you could study here.

 If you have difficulties, anybody would not help you because your family and your friends are here, you poor thing. But it's your descision, if you think you're going to comply with your goals. I just read your e-mail. Sorry to hear you broke your leg playing soccer. You poor thing! That must be really painful for you, because I know how much you wanted to play with your team in the championship, you must feel terrible. But, will you continue playing soccer after this? 

Anyway, live gives you second chances all time, so don't worry about it, now don't make so much effort with you leg, and some days of therapy, so you can return to play, if you decided it . It is not easy, but I know you are going to overcome this problem.

So, if you want to study it, I'm going to give some you advices to do a successful work in this career. First, leave the perfectionism, one thing that many students do is to compare their results with others, having negative thoughts and gradually leaving aside the optimism with which they started, you have to know that you are a person and probably you can make some mistakes, but you will learn, you will have second chances, and the most important thing you have to enjoy when you help people, because that is what a doctor do, so don't worry about it. Then, you have to be used to retain all kinds of information on a temporary basis, since the first introductory courses are anatomy and biology, that are hard at the begging, in which you must memorize a lot of essential information about the human body, if it's not the case, you have to get used to using more scientific terms, because medicine works a lot with science and it's a little bit difficult to understand if you don't know well some terms. Other advice, do an schedule, medicine it's a demanding career anywhere, so you have to be organized with your classes, your time to study and the time to get relax, because a doctor's schedule it's full of appointmens, surgeries and many things that a a doctor do, also you have to take care of your health, sometimes you won't have time to eat or sleep, studying medicine requires a lot of effort and dedication. You will go through moments of stress that can affect your health. Take care of your health based on a healthy diet, exercising and learn a disconnect and clear yourself when you have free time. If you have a bad schedule or you don't have one, you may feel very bad and you decide that medicine isn't a course for you, so you leave the career affecting all the years of study and the economy of your parents, that isn't a good idea. Also, don't miss any class, in medicine all the classes are important, because if you miss one of them, you won't know this topic, and it's will affect in your final exams, or when you start to work, for example, you miss the immunology class, where you learn, what vaccination or antibiotic, somebody needs if this person has an special kind of disease. ALLYSON YLANZO SALAS 

Studying medicine is not an easy task but is a  beautiful and demanding science, because medicine involves studying life, the body and illnesses, to be a doctor you must have many qualities and knowledge.

You have to be persevering and have the ability and willingness to learn everything they teach you, because a doctor never stops studying, you have to be brave and careful, whoever's life will be in your hands,you will also have to choose a specialty, for example, if you want to be a surgeon you will have to get used to seeing from small injuries to the largest, when you do surgeries, or if you want to study pediatrics, you have to be patient and delicate with children at the time of making a revision or applying a vaccine

 All doctors have to have a good memory because there are different parts of the body that you have to learn like bones, muscles

Finally, you have to see medicine as a fun job to do, although this will require you a lot of dedication, don't give up and move on, make the most of your time.
