The importance of foreign language in my country has a lot of benefits for the education in the schools or universities because there are many books that they are in English, Potuguese, French or another important foreign languages, but not only that  there are also many hadwares that are in other languages, too.

 

About the current situation of foreign language in my country unfortunately it's bad becuase in public schools the teachers don`t teach well, many of them just prefer to waste the time during the clases, and besides the Minister's education doesn't increase the hours of foreign languages

 

As I said the education in my country about foreign languages are bad, but recently the president from my country stars to give scholarship to many students who doesn't have enough opportunities to study. The program of scholarship is called PRONABEC and in 2016 they offer 2000 scholarship to study English.

 

For improving people's foreign language ability could be to star to give more importance for foreign languages then people would star to buy dictionaries to shearch words that they don't understand, another way to improve foreign languages would be satr to listen to music in English or watch videos in a different language
