Nelson Mandela was one of the most important person around the world. He was born in Qunu, South Africa on July 18, 1918. His parents were Gadla and Nodekeni, also he had 3 sisters. His primary language was Xhosa. He liked classical music as (Handel,Tchaikovsky). And he enjoyed the sunset.
When he was 5 year old, he had his first job in herding family's cattle. Mandela studied in mission school, when he was young he studied in Union College of Fort Hare, and finally he studied law in Johannesburg. Mandela was married on three occasions; first he got married with Evelyn Ntoko in1994, second he got married with Winnie Madikizela in 1958, finally he got married with Graca Machel in 1998.
Mandela became involved in political opposition to the white minority regime. He was joining the African National Congress (ANC) in 1942. His first position in ANC was like Youth league secretary in 1947, the other position was Deputy of ANC in 1991, finally he was a President of ANC. One of the goals was collected by Mandela in ANC was to ended the unjust system of apartheid in South Africa.
He was arrested by the government, and he was sentenced to life term for anti-government activities. He was released after 27 years, more accurate in February 11, 1990. He fought for the peace and the right of the black people in Africa. Three year later he had the Noble Peace Prize (1993). In 1994 he was the first democratically elected president of South Africa.
