Nelson Mandela was a South African that was born on July 18 1918, he had 3 sisters and, his parents were Gadla and Nodekeni, but he grew up just with his sisters and his mother in the village of Qunu, when mandela was about nine, his father came to stay at Qunu but unfortunately after that, he died of a undiagnosed ailment. Is important mention too that the mother tongue of Nelson Mandela was Xhosa and that He loved listened classical music like Handel by Tchaikovsky and, his favorite time of the day always was on the sunset.

He served for many years in different positions at African National Congress, the first of them was as a Youth League Secretary on 1947, then as a Deputy Head on 1952, and finally 39 years later as a President of ANC on 1991, for ANC the most important goal was end the unjust system of apartheid in South Africa.

By the same time He had been the country's first black head of state and the first elected in a fully representative democratic election with 62% of vote, the period of goverment was from 1994 to 1999.

Many things that Nelson Mandela did has inspired people around the world, and I think that this is most important goal ,the positive impact that has the history of Nelson Mandela, that inspire you fight for equal opportunity.
