Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was born in Quna, South Africa on july 1918. His parents were Gadla and Nodekeni. He got married with 3 women: Evelyn Nitoko in 1944, Winnie Madikizela in 1958 and Graca Machal in 1994. He joined Africa National Congress (ANC) in 1942, His goal in ANC was to end the unjust system of apartheid in South Africa.
In 1963 he was sentenced to life term for anti—goverment activities. After 27 years he was released on Frebruary 11. After that, Nelson got the nobel piece prize and then he became the first democratically elected president of South Africa.
