1.  Write  the title of the article:
"12 Funny Things Your Christmas Tree Says About You"
 
2.  Write the author's name: By Rebecca Munsterer
 
3.   Before you read, look at the picture(s) if any, as well as the title. What do you think the article will be about?
 
I think that the article will be about how people are considered in their personality aspects according the way in which they decorate their houses at Christmas day, it would implies colors and shapes.
 
4.   Read the article and describe in as much detail as possible what you understand of it.
 
   Well my prediction about the article wasn`t wrong because the article is about what I said, with the difference that the comparison is based on Christmas trees. I understood that people can reflect their personality types in their daily activities, in this case the way in which they use colors, sizes, shapes and designs to decorate their trees can describe their personality, because all of them, the mentioned aspects , have its own meanings; in fact, there is no necessary make a spoken description.
        
5.   Vocabulary Use: Choose 05 new vocabulary items (word, collocation or idiomatic expression,
etc.) and think of ways that could help you understand/learn these  vocabulary items more effectively. Do so in your vocabulary log in your learning journal.
 
 
 
       1.- vague (adj):  Of uncertain or indefinite character or meaning.
                    Example: I bought a vague book of mysteries.
       2.- cutoff (noun): A point or level marking a designated limit.
                   Example: My dress is made in a cut off.
         3.- string (noun): A set of things tied or threaded together on a thin cord.
                               Examples: the read balls were strung together.
            4.- blinking (adj.):  used to express annoyance.
                                               Example: Some people prefer blinking light to their houses.
5.- houseguests ( noun): a person staying with a household as a  guest for one night or longer.
                            Example: my house guests traveled this morning
