My experience was fantastic , I had a cultural exchange. when I realised how the experience could be enriched by knowing that person's language.For example, this happened to you when you went to a village and that the majority of the population speaks Quechua, you feel like a weirdo. It is very important to know a language that everyone speaks and it is very important to know the language of our ancestors. I strongly believe that language and culture are intimately linked.
