He was born on July 18, 1918, in Quru, South Africa, he had three sisters. his mother tongue is Xhosa. I studied law in johannesburg, after that I entered the African National Congress in 1942 and he had different positions in there por example in 1947,he worked as youth league secretary, 1952 as deputy head of ANC and in 1991 as a president of ANC; for that happened he had a hard worker. although he did not have a very quiet life because he married three times. He won the Nobel peace prize in 1993, Nelson Mandela was democratically elected president in 1994, during which he wrote his autobiography titled Long Walk to Freedom. After he retires as president he dedicates himself to doing charitable works for low-income children. In conclusion I can say that he contribute to the development of his country.
