Nelson Mandela's biography Rosmery (I10)

Nelson Mandela was the first president of South Africa democratically elected in 1944, with 62% of the votes in favor.

He was born on July 18, 1918 in Qunu, South Africa. His parents were Gadla and Nodeken.

His first job was at age 5, pasturing cattle, his first language was xhosa and his free time was spent watching the sunset. Because his parents were devout christians, he was sent to a missionary school when he was 7 years old. Then, Mandela began his high school education at Union College in Fort Hare; at the end of high school he studied law at the institute of Jonannesburg.

As for his sentimental life, Mandela had three wives, the first in 1944 called Evelyn Ntoko, the second in 1958 Winnie Madikizela and the last in 1998 Graca Machel. His favorite music is the classic one (Handel, Tchaikovsky). Mandela worked at the African National Congress; in 1947 he was secretary; in 1952, Deputy Chief of ANC and in 1991, President of ANC. Before being president of the ANC, he was imprisoned for 27 years for carrying out anti-government activities. He was released on February 11, 1990. He also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.

Mandela is recognized in several countries of the world for his diverse community activities and his influence in diverse political subjects of the western countries.
